It is "comforting" that the SEC understands Naked Short Selling and is taking legal action.
It is very disturbing that they have been so slow/negligent in their attention to this financial crime.
Last, but not least: Where are the lawsuits/prosecution of the "big boys" - or do they have a "get out of jail card" from the SEC commissioners?
Ironic that the only legal action (that I am aware of) is the Overstock (Patrick Byrne's suit) lawsuit against the prime brokers. Also amazing how the defendants continue to stall/dodge their day in court. You would think that they would welcome the chance to demonstrate in a court of law that these charges are baseless. Hmmm....
