It is a reasonable goal but at this point you are dependent on the sector and the market.  Your main risk factor is a constitutional crisis or an Asian problem that could blow the market out and not IONS per se.  You could reduce risk by dividing you sell into three batches at slightly different prices, say a little below $52., a little above and at 51.90.  Don't fall for the even numbers.
