Re: haven't been to KBLBs website in a while, different look, more info than I can recall seeing such as<<The question is, is any of this stuff any good and if it is where is a contract and where are the sales.>> The only reason that I am responding to you guys is because it is easy to tell you are both honest folks. Production is required before contracts are signed. It is extremely good. You have to know the folks that do work for the Army. Reelers, weavers, fabric producers, and the fine folks that cut the fabric into panels, are 4 different groups of people. None of them would have completed work, if at any level, the product wasn't exactly what you should think it is. They are textile people through and through. So it doesn't matter what I say. Go with what they are saying in each doing their part to see shootpack panels delivered. It is what has been promised. Yep it was late, but they communicated the issues with the first reeler. Then Warwicks equipment wasn't what was needed. So they passed it off to the small batch weaving folks. etc etc etc. Bottomline, this is how you make things happen and learn who the go to people are, when you don't have enough fiber produced to let the big boys do it for you. Wish I could tell you more, but you do what you think you have to do. I am banking heavy on KBLB success. I think shares are one of the very best currencies out there. << but what the hell happened to monster silk or big red.>> June 21, 2018 "The Company previously developed sample products, in pure and blended knit configurations using its Monster Silk materials, including shirts and gloves. Today’s announcement marks the first time the Company’s newer and stronger Dragon Silk will be transitioned into an end product." Big Red was dwarfed by Dragon SIlk I think. It is still part of the portfolio, but they aren't developing it....no doubt for business reasons. Even with MS, no one wanted to pay the big money for 150 - 300 kilo's made here in the states. There is sound business reasoning behind them not wanting to spend that money, when the future looked bright for more fibers, and it ultimately meant production wasn't ready for prime time yet. That has changed and I think they are producing now, even though Kim isn't going to tell us outright....given the ramping up history. I think we will soon learn that production is ready for prime time. Some don't think so, but I do. At least we should get an update from the guy that knows for sure. BTW, I know Ben once told me he didn't think MS was going to be advanced, but that has changed. MS is definitely in plans for production. |
