You are are master of making excuses. But this one is too much. Ford could have stayed anonymous. Feinstein could have redacted Ford's name from the letter.
Why didn't Feinstein mention the letter, without Ford's name, at the beginning of Kavanaugh hearings? Why didn't she ask Kavanaugh about it?
If Ford did not want anybody to ever know about this: why did she send the letter at all?
Ford is a sophisticated, highly educated, woman. Certainly Ford knew that an accusation, without a name, would be pointless. So why even bring it up, if she is not going to come forward?
The truth is obvious: Ford, and the democrats were planning this for months.
