GrK, those two companies have apparently worked closely for a long time, and the agreement is initially for pure electric vehicles with maybe a hybrid long-haul system in the future. Cummins actually incorporated Capstone's microturbines into their own products in the early 2000s - so maybe if they weren't burned by that, when it comes to the hybrid.....
