Not going to forget about it Beach, but maybe put it on the 'nice if it happens' back-burner. It's interesting that there are several other efforts being made to introduce microturbine range extenders. At least one of them (Kinetic) looks too much like a Capstone for comfort. I believe their prototype cars used Cappers, but now they make their own turbine. Apparently their turbine has hybrid magnetic/air bearings, but I don't see a great advantage in the magnetic component and its additional complexity. Kinetic may already be defunct - I have no idea:
